Regional Conservation Partnerships

Forever Maryland serves as the fiscal sponsor of Baltimore Greater Regional Environmental Equity Network (BGREEN), a coalition of local nonprofits committed to helping community partners across Baltimore City and County increase capacity and scale up green workforce development efforts including Dundalk Renaissance, Edmonson Heights, Johnston Square and Stillmeadow Community.

Forever Maryland is proud to be a member of the Heart of Maryland Conservation Alliance, a regional partnership of land trusts, state and local land preservation agencies, nonprofits, civic groups and caring citizens preserving Washington and Frederick counties’ rural landscape.

Forever Maryland joined the Southern Maryland Conservation Alliance (SMCA) in 2021. The Alliance was created to coordinate land conservation and restoration efforts within the five-county “Southern Maryland” region, located between the Chesapeake Bay to the east and the Potomac River to the west. The region includes the counties of Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s.

The Delmarva Land and Litter Collaborative (DLLC) is working to build cross-sector relationships to identify science-based solutions and guide their effective implementation to achieve profitable chicken and grain farming, clean water, and thriving ecosystems on the Delmarva Peninsula.
