Forever Maryland has joined Partners for Open Space and is proud to advocate for land conservation from the western Woodlands to the Eastern Shore of our scenic state of Maryland. Partners for Open Space is a statewide coalition of groups that has historically led the advocacy efforts for conservation funding in Maryland.

Program Open Space is Maryland's premier program for establishing open space for recreation and preservation purposes. Since its creation in 1969, over 394,000 acres have been protected through POS, representing a massive public benefit in the form of parks, nature centers, and more. Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, parks have become even more important to communities.
