Maryland Land Trust Directory

Land Trusts are nonprofit organizations designed to protect land from development, using conservation easement, gifts or purchases of land, or promotion of existing local, state, or Federal easement programs. Land Trusts work to conserve open space, farmland, woodland, and other natural and historic areas.

Maryland's Environmental Resources and Land Information Network (Merlin)

MERLIN

MERLIN was developed to allow users to view spatial data and to use that information to make better informed decisions. It allows users to produce a custom map of any location in Maryland, including their choice of base maps and data layers such as watersheds, election boundaries, floodplains, protected areas, and so much more.
